MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man went on a violent rampage Monday at a gas station in Miami—and the alleged victim said it was all over a dollar bill.
CBS4 News spoke to Carlos Castellon who said he was attacked while pumping gas at the Marathon Gas Station on NW 17th Avenue and NW 24th Street in Allapattah.
The man accused of hitting Castellon is homeless, often seen in the area, gas station employees said.
Castellon said he was at pump number two when a man approached him asking for money.
“I told him I didn’t have one dollar, I only had five dollars left over. But that was all the money that I had. He told me he was going to call the police on me. I said, ‘hey man, you know what, I’m going to call the police on you’.”
