WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – A new Gallup Poll indicates that Americans on both sides of the political divide view the GOP as too unwilling to compromise with others.
The polling organization asked participants in their most recent survey to tell them one or two traits they negatively associate with the GOP.
The majority of answers given in regards to Republicans pertained to a reluctance to compromise. A reported 21 percent of those asked said Republicans were too inflexible.
A release on the poll’s findings additionally noted, “When asked to say what they most dislike about the Republican Party, 26 percent of Republicans, 17 percent of independents, and 22 percent of Democrats offer this critique – leading all other mentions.”
