For a long time Facebook was secretly working on a brand new feature – it was a better search engine. At the event held at Facebook HQ, founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced tons of improvements to “graph search” – ability to search within your social graph for specifics.
From now on Facebook users will be available to ask questions in regular English, such as “which of my friends like Pink Floyd” and the search will show you your friends who like Pink Floyd, ranked based on how much interaction you’ve had, meaning that closer friends will appear on top of the list.
