A military expert, a political heavy weight, and a man of logic; today General Colin Powell, former Secretary of State, endorses Barrack Obama for re-election. He has emphasized the same points that we have been hearing over the course of this election cycle. Powell explains that President Obama came into the worst financial recession since the Great Depression. He managed to get us out of one war and is getting us out of another. He approves of how the President’s leadership has brought stabilization back to the economy. Powell criticizes Romney’s foreign policy in that he notes that it keeps changing. Powell expresses that he feels more comfortable with President Obama handling things like health care, education and climate change than he would with Governor Romney.
