Ann Romney Thanks Volunteers In Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) — As GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney campaigned in Daytona Beach today, his wife Ann made her rounds across the state as well.

After participating in a breast cancer walk in Orlando, Mrs. Romney met with volunteers in Broward County to thank them for their time and their work for her husband’s campaign.

Greeted with a round of applause, a hug and a lot of smiling faces, Ann Romney was in Fort Lauderdale Saturday afternoon meeting with Romney-Ryan campaign volunteers at the Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine restaurant.

Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mrs. Romney spoke with several volunteers briefly about her own battle with breast cancer and her respect and well wishes for those dealing with cancer.
