No Socks and Flip Flops

Americans love to utter the words “It’s a free country!” Why then, do people ignore it when incidents happen, or when politicians pass legislature that contradicts that which made the country free in the first place? You don’t have to be a political genius to understand it when a law is passed or an action is taken that doesn’t line up with the ultimate law of the land. Let’s look at some examples.

1. Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of2011 (HR 347).  Basically, it’s illegal to peacefully protest at ‘restricted’ government buildings or wherever there is a person who has Secret Service protection.
